Taylor EM, Klinge PM, Sullivan SR, Taylor HO. (2013) Cerebrospinal fluid leak masquerading as a decubitus ulcer in a patient with spina bifida. Eplasty. 2013 Nov 11;13:ic62.
A 38-year-old man with a history of spina bifida and T12 paraplegia
presented with a nonhealing sacral wound that developed from a site
adjacent to his myelomeningocele repair scar. Clear fluid drained from
this pinpoint opening intermittently for years and was determined to be
cerebrospinal fluid during a repeat debridement.
